Two Women, Two Paths: Eliza Grier and Matilda Evans
Dr. Clara Marshall was an alumna and professor of materia medica (now known as pharmacology) and general therapeutics at Woman's Medical College of Pennsylvania (WMCP). During her tenure as dean from 1888-1917, she oversaw the expansion of the medical school to a four-year program, and raised funds to construct a modern lab and a teaching hospital to improve the students training.
Clara Marshall was Dean of Woman's Medical College from 1888-1917, while Eliza Grier and Matilda Evans were students.
